The Los Gatos TEDx community seeks to extend the TED experience at a local level, connecting people across disciplines and creating conversations.

We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and ultimately the world. We aim to share knowledge and inspiration from the world’s most inspired thinkers, and bring together a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

Our event is called TEDxLosGatos, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxLosGatos event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
